Happy Birthday!

You probably don't read this.  (I don't think anyone does.)
I don't have much to give, and I wish I could give more, but I hope you enjoyed your birthday.  May our random adventures in the city continue ...You're the best! I love you.

Hearst Memorial Atrium

Its less than a month from graduation and my classes are making it really hard to actually graduate.  Its my last semester (hopefully) and I can't even enjoy Berkeley.  One of the busiest semesters by far.  And I can't invite everyone to my graduation!  :( Very limited tickets! I get 4 tickets plus 2 more that I can request but are not certain.

"I have since learned - helping me to understand what then began to happen within me - that the truth can be quickly received, or received at all, only by the sinner who knows and admits that he is guilty of having sinned much.  Stated another way: only guilt admitted accepts truth.  The Bible again: the one people who Jesus could not help were the Pharisees; they didn't feel they needed any help.

The enormity of my previous life's guilt prepared me to accept the truth. "

the unconditional love of a dog

Molly=Sea Lion
I know it seems like im obsessed with my dogs, but they're the very few that don't get annoyed at me snapping random pictures. haha.  I really do miss having them around.  They don't judge you or care about how lame you are or what you have.  Its nice to have that unconditional love from them.  I'm currently in search of a new place to live that allows pets! :)

Berkeley = Persian Army

I miss the inspiring quotes from my Latin classes in high school.  They are easily the most influential classes I've taken, even after 4 years at Berkeley.  I still have my notebook and might post a few occasionally. Yeah I'm a nerd! whatever.

Heres one that you might remember in the movie, "300."  Its appropriate for my last month and a half at Berkeley cause its gonna suck. (and I ate a Persian Burger at Bongo Burger today so I thought of it. haha)

Latin:
Persian: caellum propter numerum sagittarum non videbitis
    Spartan: in umbria igitur pugnabimus.
et Leonidas exclamat: pugnate magnis cum animis, Lacedaemonii; hodie apud inferos furtasse cenabimis!

Translation:
Persian: You shall not see the sky because of the number of arrows.
Spartan: Then we shall fight in the shade
And Leonidas yelled: Fight with great spirit, Lacedaemonians; Today perhaps we shall dine in the house of the dead!

Right now there are a lot of arrows, but I'm still fighting! 45ish more days.
THIS IS SPARTAA!

se succiderit de genu pugnat
If he falls down, he fights on his knees.

Music Throwback: Linkin Park

Ancient Music Device
I ran out of hours for my Pandora this month. I use it for studying. Usually Ill listen to Cake Radio and I'll skip all the Cake songs.  I've kept it on this station for a long time so it usually just plays songs that I like, but it gets boring cause they just repeat. Lately though I've had some really good days with pandora and they've finally been playing new songs.

Anyways...I've been looking for new music to listen to and guess what I found?....My Linkin Park CDs from middle school! hah. Judge me if you want for liking them.  The first CD I ever bought was by them.  (Nope, not N'Sync or Backstreet Boys...cause my sister bought those :p).  I can't deny their catchy guitar riffs and how their screams spoke to the angst of my emo teenage soul.  At the time they were a hybrid of rap and rock, had cool graffiti, and were one of the few bands with asians.  I remember asking my parents to buy me a CD player and CD from kmart.  I wasn't really one to ask a lot from my parents. I bought my gameboy and video games with birthday money and when my clothes were deemed inadequate I was forced to go shopping...but I really wanted a CD player to listen to my "angry music."

First came Hybrid Theory.

I also have the remix CD of Hybrid Theory, Reanimation.

And I have Meteora.

Thats as far as I went with them.  They're a different Linkin Park now.  They have a different sound.  They don't scream anymore.  No longer my angry teenage rock band.  Nothing wrong with that though, we all have to grow out of the emo stage sometime.

The Barbie for my future daughters..Architect Barbie

"Please Welcome Architect Barbie to the Dancefloor"

The glasses are accurate...the color pink is not. haha. Architects don't like color.

Not that anyone really checks this blog...I'm going to be avoiding posting even more, going on fb, google reader, and any other distraction I can think of.  I need  to focus on working on my architecture portfolio so I can be just like my hero, Architect Barbie. haha.

Graffiti

I'm actually a fan of graffiti even though that seems kind of weird since I love buildings.  But I only like graffiti when its clever at least.  Heres a few I've come across.

I can't sleep...

Its like 3.42am right now. I can't sleep for some reason, so I decided to blog. Yeeaah soo, I know I have like 1 follower and a few views across the nation including Alasaka, but I figure I should continue on as Robin Scherbatsky does her 2am news channel.  My cousin posted this on tumblr, but I decided to re-post it for my follower/bf and occasional random viewer.
